The photography studio, Photography by Picard, has been in business for over 30 years. Owner and professional photographer, Roger Picard, has extensive training and knowledge of the photographic industry. A graduate of the Nikon School of Photography and recipient of training at countless seminars and schools on various aspects of photography, Roger Picard has been recognized by the Connecticut Professional Photographers’ Association for his photographic work and service in the photographic industry. His photographic career began as a wedding photographer. His studio has evolved into a professional portrait studio, where his primary “focus” is portraiture. High school seniors, executive and professional headshots, and family portraiture is now the primary elements of his business. Mr. Picard has a keen ability to read light, which enables him to photograph for major construction businesses such as O&G Industries, and capture images of interior and exterior locations of their completed building projects throughout the State of Connecticut.
